Max Verstappen won the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix this Sunday, the 24th. The Dutch driver started first on the Suzuka Circuit, and at the end of the contest he consecrated Red Bull six times champion of the F1 World Constructors’ Championship. This is Verstappen’s 47th career victory and his 13th of the 2023 season.
On the podium, Verstappen was joined by Lando Norris, of McLaren, who achieved his second consecutive podium and Oscar Piastri, also of McLaren, who stood on the podium for the first time in his career.
Winner of the competition, the Dutch driver said it was an “incredible” weekend. “The car performed well in all compounds. But the most important thing was to beat the manufacturers, so good job to everyone at the factory. We are having an incredible year”, he underlines.
The race started badly from the start.
