AlloCiné: Two years later Everything starts hereWhat do you think of Jasmine’s development?
Zoe Severin : Jasmine has a great evolution! He still arrived fully enclosed. Between her bipolar disorder, her son, and a love life she couldn’t handle at all, she’s managed to calm down and persevere over the past two years. He is now stable in terms of bipolar. We hear a little less about it and she also had a stable relationship with Axel (Thomas da Costa). He gained stability and peace. In fact, today we have a peaceful jasmine.
It’s been quite a busy year for Jasmine since Greg and Elliot said goodbye to the Auguste Armand Institute. How did you experience the trip? Michael Mittelstadt and Nicholas Anselmo ?
It was slow! Besides being great actors, they are also great friends.
It was hell for Mika. I think it shows in the last scenes where I find out that he is going to Japan. These were scenes where fantasy meets reality. Niko leaving, same thing. Besides, it was a twist. I was like, “Come on again!“. Because we also know in advance, it was like the sword of Damocles that fell every three months (laughs). Niko, so it was very difficult. He is really very kind. He gives love everywhere and misses it. A lot every day.
After that, I think that’s also cool because it brought a different energy to Jasmine’s character. He was able to position himself differently because in this series we position ourselves in relation to all the characters. The fact that all the atoms around Jasmine’s character have shifted means she’s positioning herself differently. It brings a different energy which is great!
The departure of Greg and Elliot also means that Jasmine is now on her own to raise Nael. Between her role as a mother and her classes, it’s a much busier Jasmine that we’ll find this year. How will he get out of this?
Indeed, it will be very difficult for Jasmine to start the school year and her role as a single mother of a child who wants to move everywhere. Fortunately, he will have the help of Deva (Kathy Pakyanathan) and David (Liam Helman). Thibault (Félix Paco) will also naturally help Jasmine on a daily basis. At some point, he will still ask himself the question of how to organize everything in life with a child.
This year marked the end of the Jasmine-Axel couple. How did you experience leaving? Thomas and Costa And the end of this iconic couple?
Something hurt me. It’s true that for a year we were shooting almost 24/7 with Thomas. We became friends. So it was also a very strong start. The last scene we shot together, the one where we tell each other “OK, let’s break up“I surprised myself with real tears. I was not looking at Axel, but at Thomas. And I said to him: “Damn, you’re annoying to leave(laughs).
Despite everything, it’s also nice because there will be other adventures for Jasmine with other play partners and other play colors.
Jasmine quickly found love. What can you tell us about the story that is born with Thibaut?
After what she experienced with Axel, Jasmine spends time with Thibaut. It’s a wonderful relationship. It’s cute, it’s soft. It doesn’t spin like it could have with Axel. I think this story is good for him, but he takes it easy. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, but it remains a serious story.
If a solid love story emerges for Thibaut and Jasmine, her relationship with Jim (Loan Becmont) is electric. I imagine their disagreement could compromise Jasmine’s story with Thibault?
very difficult. Jasmine finds Jim creepy. And he said to Thibaut:I don’t know if the relationship will not suffer with such a brotherWhen Thibaut explains to her why her brother is so important in her life and tells her that he cared about him a lot, she begins to change her mind. Jasmine is still naturally empathetic. So he’s going to leave. I wouldn’t say she’s going to calm down because she’s still as annoying as ever, but she’s making an effort because she cares about her relationship with Thibaut. He does not want to spoil this relationship. The story of a disagreement with his brother.
We can’t help but think that Jim and Jasmine like each other and a love story between them is possible. Is this an avenue the writers can explore for the rest of the series?
(laughs) I don’t know! Jim is a character with a huge personality and a huge character. Jasmine also has a strong character. If the writers decide to go in this direction, they risk seeing all the colors (laughs).
In terms of research, what will happen to Jasmine in the coming months? Teissier (Benjamin Barochet) I should give him a proposal in the next few days, it seems to me…
Jasmin is talented and gifted. Indeed, Teissier is going to propose to him, but I can’t talk about that. This is an important proposal that will affect his education.
Do you have any other projects from Here It All Begins that you can talk about?
I did Meurtres dans le Cantal directed by Sandrine Cohen. Usually, they should be released this winter. I play Katya, a character far removed from Jasmine.
