This Monday, September 25, France 2 broadcasts the first two episodes of Infiltré(e), a detective miniseries written by Frédéric Crivin and directed by Jean-Philippe Amar, the duo already behind the historical fiction Un Village Français.
For the occasion, they find Audrey Flerot, who ditches Morgan Alvaro’s colorful outfit at HPI to play Aurel, a police chemist raising her son alone after her partner’s overdose death.
When Commissioner Max Vernet (played by Thierry Neviwick) uses his skills to investigate UBH, a new synthetic drug that begins to claim victims, he has no idea that he will find himself at the heart of a young and dangerous trafficker’s network. . Faced with the charismatic Jesus (Sumay Cárdenas), who runs the network from Marseille, does he have a chance to complete the mission? Oreli has no choice to save his son.
Why put parentheses in the title?
Writing the title of Infiltré(e) is very specific. The production actually chose to put a nail on it, which is questionable. When asked at the press conference, creators Frederic Crivin and Emmanuel Dowse explained that this way of writing the title of the mini-series was done from the beginning of the project.
If they always had in mind to penetrate the female character, they liked the idea of nails. “Aurel puts his life on hold when he begins to infiltrate“- explained Emanuel Dawes.
“These brackets also form a logo and thus make it possible to create a commercial brand, even if it is for a mini series.“- added Frederic Krivine. “We really liked the visuals it gave us and found it much more interesting than just setting up Infiltrate. It catches the eye and creates a little mystery without hindering comprehension..”
Watch two new episodes of Infiltré(e) this Monday, September 25, from 21:10 on France 2.
