On Tuesday, September 26, everything starts here…
Lionel and Kelly declare war on each other
At the Institute, Lionel and Kelly meet again and are not on the same wavelength at all. If Lionel thought his girlfriend would like his initiative, he scolds her for acting without worrying about what she really wants. She informs him that he will have to find another second since he entered the competition as a chef, along with Amber.
At Double A, Kelly confides in Amber that she feels more motivated than ever. The two girls discover that Lionel has chosen Livio for the second time. Volunteers for the pre-selection of the competition are gathered in front of Landiras. The chef prepared a customized training for them. He explains to them what the pre-selection test consists of: bringing out a dish and an appetizer, randomly drawn with a common ingredient, using a common cooking technique. He also reminds that if the brigade is proven not to meet the standards, it will not participate in the pre-election. Finally, Landiras emphasizes that each brigade should choose a clerk from the first years, during the day.
At the park, Leo, Maya and Malik absolutely want to be picked. The childhood friends dream of being a couple with Lionel, and Malik expresses his desire to be a part of the couple with Amber and Kelly. Solal, who is also present, wonders why he is interested in this particular brigade. Malik remains vague, but everyone understands that he is particularly interested in Amber.
Meanwhile, at CDI, Lionel plans to hire Carla as a clerk. He takes the opportunity to confide in Livio about the tense situation with Kelly. He’s really worried about her mental health. But Livio reminds him that Kelly is a strong woman who didn’t need him to get rid of Lenglart. He warns her that she risks losing him forever if she is so macho. Except that Lionel doesn’t see the seriousness of the situation.
At the commissary, Solal informs Ambre that Malik plans to become their clerk. Panicking, Amber plans to explain everything to Kelly so they can get someone else to take her, as she feels she can’t work with Malik without knowing if he’s going to unmask her.
In the kitchen, Amber is about to talk to Kelly when Malik pulls the rug out from under her and offers herself as a clerk. However, Amber replies that the seat has already been taken by Carla. After Malik leaves, Amber explains the whole story to Kelly.
Ambre then rushes to see Carla to ask her to be their clerk, but she is not interested. However, Amber uses many arguments to convince him. But Carla ends up admitting that she has already agreed to join Lionel and Livio’s brigade. After Amber leaves, Berenia states that the Girls’ Brigade is without a doubt the most crucial. This is enough to change Carla’s mind.
So the latter joins Ambre and Kelly in the kitchen to be part of their brigade after alerting Lionel via text message. Very upset by this turn of events, he goes into the kitchen and accuses Kelly of stealing his commissary out of simple revenge. Kelly claims her innocence, but Lionel declares war on her…
Jasmin receives an unexpected proposal
As agreed, Jimmy and Jasmine met each other in the studio. Teissier joins them and instructs the first year to cook a Peking duck and a Bavarian in two hours. Jasmine, for her part, just has to watch him do it. A young woman tries to hide her disappointment.
Teissier returns two hours later and asks Jasmine to taste the meal and dessert prepared by Jimmy to give her opinion. Objective and professional in her notes, Jasmine highlights the strengths and weaknesses of each plate before leaving an overall impression of her performance with a detailed analysis and ways to improve. Teissier then tells him that he passed the test. As for Jim, he was only there for training and is asked to leave the building.
After Jimmy leaves, Teissier tells Jasmine that he wants her to follow him to Shanghai. There, he plans to fire Double A’s chef, take back the reins, then let Jasmine run the establishment for a few weeks until she gets back on her feet. Tessier really shows the confidence he has in his talent. Jasmine happily accepts his proposal.
He then goes to Thibaut to share the news with him. The latter admits that he was very impressed by this success. She is ready to live their relationship at a distance and calmly wait for his return.
Rose tells Clotilde the truth
Faced with Antoine, Clotilde and Olivia, Rose wants to clear things up. He specifically explains that he had no choice but to postpone his return to the institute for a personal reason that he does not want to reveal. If Rose is going to return to her position as headmistress, she still wants Olivia to continue what she started with the students. Chef Listrak is excited.
Antoine and Rose then go to the workshop to announce to the Masters students that Rose is taking her place again. He apologizes for missing back to school. He adds that Olivia will now be a regular speaker at the Masters. He also wants to maintain the educational line established by the Listrac chef during his absence and also wants to create a mentoring system where each student will select a famous chef to accompany them throughout the year in the project. The students are absolutely thrilled.
At her sister’s house, Rose confides in her about being in Barcelona. He explains that the letter Clotilda found in her belongings was a letter from her donor and that the man she took a photo with was her nurse. Indeed, Rose traveled to Spain to research IVF. Unfortunately, that didn’t work. Rose’s reluctance to try again must now come to terms with the fact that she will never be a mother.
