During the session the CPI presented the report carried out by the Technical-Scientific Police on the animal’s body. From the document it appears that the death was caused by a gunshot, fired from above.

Remember the case

The crime occurred on September 9 in Praia do Morro, in Guarapari. The guardian Iasmin Lima Peçanha Avelar he was walking Churros when the dog jumped on Anderson, who, according to witnesses, threatened to kill the animal. The man shot when the dog had already moved away. It all happened in front of three children, one of whom was a newborn.

The owner, a witness and the vet who treated Churros were interviewed at the Animal Abuse CPI on 13 September.
