Brusque did well in group B. And the others?
In Group B, Brusque has scored 12 points in four games and has already secured the lead and place in the final of the Third Division of Brazilian football. This fifth round, therefore, can only lead to the early elimination of Operário, from Ponta Grossa (PR), which has just three points.
Ghost, in fact, will have a complicated challenge. On Sunday (1/10), at 4pm, they will face São José-RS away from home, who could reach seven points if they win. The duel will be played at the Francisco Novelletto Stadium, in Porto Alegre.
The same reality is experienced by São Bernardo (SP), which has four points and hosts the already classified Brusque this Saturday (30), at the Estádio Primeiro de Maio, at the ABC Paulista. In this scenario, therefore, the triumphs of São Paulo and Gauchos in this penultimate round eliminate the Paraná team.

Paysandu, in group C, counts the minutes for access
The situation in group C is more complicated. This Saturday (30), Botafogo-PB, with only three points, receives Volta Redonda (RJ) in João Pessoa and needs to win to continue with every possibility and depend exclusively on itself in the final phase. With four points, Voltaço is also thinking of a positive result on Saturday at 7pm in Almeidão so as not to depend on the other match in the group.

A draw in the capital of Paraíba, in fact, could eliminate both Belo and Voltaço, given that Amazonas can reach nine points if they defeat Paysandu, who already has ten, on Sunday (1). The most favorable scenario is that of the Pará team: if Volta Redonda does not win, Papão will guarantee its presence in Serie B-2024. But if the Sul Fluminense team triumphs, Paysandu will need a draw in Mangueirão, at 5.30pm, to secure their place.
