Alex’s (Benjamin Bourgois) life is about to fall apart in Un si grand soleil!
It must be said that Julie (Sophie Staub), the woman who shares his life, has been leading a double life for a long time. Although the young woman thought that her lover would allow her to beautify her daily life, she was far from imagining the trouble this adventure would bring her.
Not long ago, Julie and Sylvain spent a terrible night in the hotel room of a certain Mr. Lejeune. If the lovers were almost caught, a hotel guest reported the theft of the precious watches the next morning.
Suspected of masterminding this theft, Julie experiences a veritable descent into hell during the following episodes of the daily soap opera France 2. Indeed, while the Montpellier police begin their investigation, Jules’ betrayal is revealed. How will Alex react?
Last July, during a visit to the Un si grand soleil studios in Vendarg, Benjamin Bourgois, Alexis’ translator, spoke to Allociné’s microphone about what the future holds for this story, which promises to be rich in twists and turns. turns.
Allociné: What was your assessment after arriving at Un si grand soleil?
Benjamin Bourgois : Alex has always had situations where he finds himself in a bit of trouble, especially in romantic relationships. Professionally, he has evolved in the sense that he has gained ground. He has a little more guts. At first, Alex was less sure of himself. He often played dumb to give Manu an opportunity to solve the investigation. This is a bit confusing.
Today, he is a person who always stands on logic and facts, but he has more and more intuition. He always has this slightly light and casual character about a lot of things. Above all, the romantic events and all the heartaches he might have had, make him stronger.
While Julie and Alex lived happily ever after, the young woman has unfortunately been leading a double life for several weeks now. What can you tell us about what to expect in the next few episodes?
Julie has a boyfriend. That’s how he found the balance. He has a lover to hang out with from time to time and his big teddy bear at home. Parallel to this story, Julie is accused of stealing watches from the hotel room where she met her boyfriend. And because of this, Alex finally discovers his partner’s betrayal.
How will he react when he finds out the truth?
There were several opportunities to approach this, but we decided to do something very right. Like some kind of direct deep cut that needs to be cleaned immediately. It’s kind of a shock, but it translates into something chilling.
He learns that he is a robber when his colleagues investigate. It’s not something he likes. It’s a huge cold shower. He gets real slime. We ended up shooting very few scenes where we see Alex break down.
Will Alex get involved in this investigation and help Julie escape from it?
Despite what he’s done to her, Alex isn’t going to give up on her. He joins forces with Jade (Shemss Audat) and Ludo (Folco Marchi). It’s a forced and unexpected collaboration that will lead to many comedic scenes.
I think this story will transform him. Which Alex will we find at the end of this arch?
It’s definitely going to be a little bit rougher, a little bit more direct, a little bit tougher. It would be interesting to see him rebel or completely change his relationship with women.
Manu (Moses Santamaria) Will he be Alex’s support in this ordeal?
Manu will really support her, but Alex will hide many things from her. Despite everything, they are an indestructible duo.
What memory do you have of this arch?
It was great working with Sophie, who is my real wife. It’s good that we share things together. We love working together so it’s really cool.
Do you have any projects going on alongside the series that you can talk about?
I acted in Meurtres dans le Cantal and in the TV series Le Négociateur with François-Xavier Demazon, in which I play a bank director. I also filmed the 3rd season of The Invisibles.
