Kelly cuts Lionel off

In the workshop, each brigade gathers in front of Landiras, who wants to work collectively. So he instructs each brigade to taste each opposing brigade’s appetizer and dish for constructive feedback. Still shaken by the night they spent together the night before, Malik and Kelly don’t stop flirting and flirting with each other.

They gather in the commissary to collect the necessary ingredients, which are irresistibly attracted to each other. After Livio and Suleiman leave the commissary, Malik and Kelly lose interest and shoot each other passionately.

Under the watchful eye of Landiras, Lionel’s brigade tastes the food offered by Maddy and Kelly’s brigade. Suleiman gives us good advice, unlike Livio, who does not believe in the principle of fair play between opponents. As for Lionel, he is even more precise in his advice. He suggests that Kelly choose the main element among the seafood in her dish, that is, concentrate on the curls and try to strengthen them. Malik points out that they’ve already done this with seaweed butter. But Lionel believes that what will give the dish its true identity will be the processing of its contents. Kelly totally agrees with him.

Later, Ambre cleans the workshop with Malik and takes the opportunity to congratulate him for being able to put his ego aside and give constructive feedback on Lionel’s dish. Malik notes that their relationship has changed a lot since the beginning of the year. Ambre goes so far as to admit that she likes him.

At CDI, Kelly realizes that the recipe Lionel recommended to her comes from a cookbook he gave her when she wanted to enter the institute’s competition. He is very excited about this attention. But she confides in Salome and Amber that she slept with Malik and feels completely lost between the two boys. In turn, Ambre takes the blame.

Solal finds him a little later in the cafeteria, having fun on a pinball machine. Amber tells him what happened between Malik and Kelly. Solal tells her that Malik still thinks Kelly is Ophelia and that their relationship is based on fantasy. He again encourages Ambre to tell Malik the truth.

Meanwhile, Kelly goes to see Lionel in his room to thank him for his tender attention. The delighted young man hopes to finally make peace with her. But when he comes close to kissing her, Kelly pulls back and explains that she can’t do it anymore. He prefers to stop there…

Salome completes her project

On the premises of the institute, Salome talks to Claire about her new master’s project: she explains that she no longer wants to impose a menu on clients, but rather puts them at their disposal to create the dish they want. Although Claire immediately points out the logistical problems involved in this type of project, Salome promises to work hard enough on her concept to convince her of its feasibility.

Concerned Claire talks to Clotilde, Zachary and Gaitan about the situation. He admits that he is very skeptical about Salome’s project. If the rest of his colleagues agree with him, adding that it is not economically or qualitatively beneficial, Gaitan defends the Salome project by saying that he successfully tested it on him last week.

In Double A, Deva informs Anais, Salome, and Clotilda that a client is coming to see her mother and that she wants to make a surprise. In fact, her mother had already eaten at Double A about fifteen years ago and remembers the Saskatoon berry and vanilla dessert. Therefore, the customer hopes that this dessert is still on the menu. Clotilda remembers it very well because it was her father’s creation. However, due to the difficulty of obtaining Saskatoon berries, they were removed from the menu. While Deva is about to call the client to tell her that her request is impossible, Salome wants to recreate it instead. As the head of Double A, Anais gives it the green light.

With a roommate, Salome tries to contact several suppliers for Saskatoon berries, to no avail. Anais advises her to abandon her project, but Salome wants to be patient. As he leaves, Gaitan defends him, believing him to be righteous in battle. Anais disagrees with him. He is convinced that his best friend will fail.

Deva is given a mission

Summoned by Miriel, Deva is assigned a very important mission: the 50th anniversary of the mayor of the city, who will come to celebrate them at the privatized Double A, on Saturday evening. Miriel adds that there will be about a hundred guests among the entire local elite, so there is no room for error. Deva has carte blanche to choose the domestic team since Lisandro is absent. Deva accepts the mission.

Deva immediately tells David and Ethan about it. Her boyfriend is happy that she can support him as the main waiter. But Deva doesn’t want to be accused of favoritism if she recruits him to her team. Instead, he decides to hold a test among the students to choose the best head waiter. David, who plans to run, is very confident about his chances of being selected.

For his test, Deva asks each student to give him a different cheese, advise him as if he were a customer, and then cut it according to the rules of the art. David goes first. He makes several mistakes that he points out. Then comes Thibaut’s turn, who is doing exceptionally well.

Later, at the boarding school, Deva reveals to David that she chose Thibaut to be the head of the line only because he was better than her in the exam. David is upset and thinks his girlfriend just doesn’t want to work with him. Deva replies that first of all she needs someone serious and involved, which doesn’t apply to David, who continues to take things lightly. He reminds her that second year is really hard and that she will have to move on. Seeing that David is suddenly very tense, he promises to help.
