In Gen V, a spin-off of The Boys, everything takes place within the walls of Godolkin University. The institution welcomes students with extraordinary powers to become the superheroes of tomorrow. Like its original model, the series reproduces sad scenes, enough to make even the most sensitive eyes roll. It also manages to surprise, like its first episode and the fate of one of the characters.
Among the main characters we find Marie Moreau, who can cut her throat with a jet of her own blood; Emma, who must take it upon herself to shrink; But Luke – also nicknamed the golden boy.
Like the Human Torch in Fantastic Four, it explodes in no time. His strength is strong, he is also a popular sportsman in the university that no one can resist. It also monopolizes the first place in the ranking of the best students.
In one of the final scenes of the episode, Luke/Golden Boy confronts Mari and decides to kill himself by blowing himself up in front of all his comrades. Is this sudden death a sign – already? – End of character.

It is obvious that the creators have carefully thought out the choice of this actor for the role. General V somewhat mirrors the formula of Wes Craven’s screamer, who bet an entire promotion on Drew Barrymore’s existence only to end up killing him ten minutes into the film.
