Grupo Foto Sul’s annual event highlights trends and innovations in the photography industry
In its 17th edition, the Grupo Foto Sul Annual Meeting brought together hundreds of photography professionals at the Events Center of the University of Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul, on September 27. The event offered a unique opportunity for the photography community to come together and deepen their knowledge of the art of photography, as highlighted by Rodrigo Scortegagna, product and relations director of Grupo Foto Sul.
The day of activities began with a conference in honor of the Group’s founder, Rogério Scortegagna. Subsequently, Rodrigo Scortegagna presented the trends and novelties of the photographic sector for 2024. Among the novelties was announced the “Glow Line”, aimed at debutantes and 15 year old parties, which incorporates elements of fashion and architecture to create albums luxurious and exuberant. Furthermore, the company launched the “Teka Wood Album Line” to serve a more restrained audience, highlighting the timelessness and delicacy of wood in decoration.
One of the highlights of the event was the launch of “Linha Álbuns Conecta”, which incorporates QR codes printed on albums, allowing viewers to access videos related to photos through their mobile devices. This not only enriches the album experience but also increases photographers’ engagement on social media.
Rodrigo Scortegagna highlighted the importance of adding value to photography products and services, citing examples of photographers who have significantly increased their profits through the sale of customized products. The event featured nine speakers from across Brazil, who covered various photography-related topics, in an innovative format with a main stage and a talk stage.
Photographer Ludimila Freitas, host of Palco Talks, shared her excitement at being part of the event and highlighted the unique Q&A dynamic with the speakers. She praised the innovations and products developed by Grupo Foto Sul, underlining the care and affection that the company puts into its projects.
