New film with Angus Cloud gets trailer; watch

Angus Cloud is the protagonist of a film scheduled for release on November 10th in the United States. Your Lucky Day is based on the short film of the same name, also created by Daniel Brown — director and screenwriter of both versions. Read synopsis:

After a dispute over a winning lottery ticket turns into a hostage situation, the witness must decide how far they will go — and how much blood they can spill — for a share of the $156 million.

The cast has Elliot Knight, Sterling Beaumon, Mousa Hussein Kraish It is Jessica Garza. In an interview with EntertainmentWeekly (via People), Brown revealed that it was his wife who raised the name of Cloud to star in the film in the lead role, after watching Euphoria.

“I wrote the character based on people I grew up with: guys who sold drugs and fought with classmates and their stepfather, but who were also super protective and loyal to their friends,” said the filmmaker. “The history and vision of Cloud were so right for the character, I had to follow that path.”
