Loki: Season 2 has the most watched premiere on Disney+

The second season of Loki It has just landed on Disney+ and is already showing its purpose: released on Thursday (5), the first episode of the series totaled 10.9 million views in three days, a record for streaming, as reported by Deadline.

Written by Michael Waldron, the second season of Loki will have episodes directed by the duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.

In addition to the returns of Tom Hiddleston and Sofia Di Martino, the season also features the returns of Owen Wilson (Mobius), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Ravonna) and Jonathan Majors (Kang). Ke Huy Quan (Oscar winner), Rafael Casal (Blind spot) and Katie Dickie (The Witch) are the additions to the cast.

Despite the success of the debut, the series also received criticism for the alleged use of artificial intelligence in one of the promotional posters for the new season. The hypothesis has sparked controversy on the Internet.

The first season of Loki ended with the series revealing the big bad behind the AVT: Kang, The Conqueror (since he’s a variant of the original, he goes by the name He Who Remains in the series).

With different multiverses and open timelines, different realities are available to the character, who quotes: “If you think I’m bad, wait until you see my variations” – confirming that Marvel has even more possibilities to explore.
