On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, France 2 broadcasts the TV movie The Next Journey from 21:10. Here we follow the story of an October couple, Jacqueline and Richard, who travel to the hotel where they spent their first night of love sixty-three years ago.

In the same room, they find memories of the past as they reminisce about their love life together. Little by little we understand what the real project of this pilgrimage is. Faced with the disease, which is increasing tirelessly, they decided not to leave each other and to go together with dignity.

The audience finds Layne Reno and Jean Sorel in the lead roles in this powerfully themed fiction title. They are up against Serge Hazanavicius (Sebastien), Lola Aubrier (Lea), Benjamin Buffy (Alexander) and Hélène Babu (Alice).

This project was built on the basis of the original play by Laurent Buff, titled Lutetia lovers. The actor and Thierry Biniste are the authors and director of this TV movie.
