Horror: This movie with puppets blew the minds of the audience

After a horror movie that makes you want to vomit, it’s time for a movie that makes you cry! Robert Morgan’s feature film Stopmotion blew the minds of audiences in previews at the Sitges Festival in Spain from October 5 to 15. Present on the spot, Tomas Andres, our colleague from the site SensaCine, reports that the viewer “got up to go to the bathroom and fell.” Medical personnel immediately intervened.

Robert Morgan’s first feature film, Stopmotion, stars Aisling Franciosi, recently seen in the casting of Demeter’s Last Voyage, a young Kaolin Springall and Tom Yorke.

In the film, Ella, a stop-motion animator, has to deal with the death of her mother, with whom she had a difficult relationship. Then he immersed himself in work and began to create puppets for his films from steaks, and later from dead animals. Later, he pushes the madness even further and decides to create them with his own body parts.

Tomas Andres explains that the audience fainted after a shocking scene in which the film’s main character “spreads his legs and starts cutting flesh and muscle” to create one of his puppets.

And when we see the first photos of the flesh puppets in the film (above), we understand that the images made some viewers uncomfortable.

The director is not the first attempt, as he has already made some pretty scary horror short films, such as the famous Cat with Hands, Bobby Ho (whose trailer you can see at the top of this article) or Belial’s Dream. Robert Morgan also directed the “D is for Deloused” segment of the horror compilation The ABCs of Death 2.

The release date has not been announced yet Stopmotion.
