We spoke with the company’s marketing director about welcoming visitors to BGS 2023 and the future of Nintendo in Brazil




Owner of an enviable fan base, especially in the East, Nintendo is gaining – or recovering – more and more space in Brazil. The Nintendo Switch’s official arrival here was less than four years ago, but since then several editions and bundles have arrived in the country, including Lite and OLED versions. This is directly reflected in the brand’s stand Brazil Game Show 2023one of the largest and most popular at the fair.

The marketing director makes a prediction on what we can expect from Nintendo’s future in Brazil: an even greater presence. “Since the arrival of Nintendo Switch in the country, we have had a family of consoles. We have had Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, exclusive editions and bundles. What we can expect is much more.”

“What we’re trying to bring is our entire huge portfolio. Bring it here and make it accessible,” concludes Romina Whitlock.
