The film “Forgotten Love”, produced by Netflix, is receiving positive reviews from the public. The feature film is an adaptation of “Znachor”, a literary work by Polish author Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz published in 1938.
Michal Gazda, of “Trust Me”, directed the drama, while Marcin Baczysnki, of “Letters to Santa 5” (film without translation in Brazil), and Mariusz Kuczewski, of “David and the Christmas Elves”, developed the film script.

The film “Forgotten Love” tells the story of Rafal Wilczur, a former surgeon who is abandoned by his wife and loses his memory after being attacked during a robbery. After living for years as a wanderer, he finally settles in a village, where he recalls his medical skills. In the village Wilczur begins to use his knowledge to take care of the local population and meets an important figure from the past.
The cast includes Leszek Lichota, of “The Blind Side,” and Maria Kowalska, of “The Angels of Law,” in the roles of Rafal Wilczur and Maria Jolanta Wilczur.
Anna Szymanczyk, of “The Wedding Day,” plays Zoska, and Izabela Kuna, of “Family Revelations,” plays Countess Eleonora Czysnkie. Meanwhile, Małgorzata Mikołajczak, from “Tonight you sleep with me”, represents Blessed Wilczur.
Ignacy Liss, of “The Exit,” and Mikołaj Grabowski, of “Without a Trace,” appear in the roles of Leszek Czynski and Stanislaw Czynski, respectively.
Mirosław Haniszewski, of “The Informant,” plays Jerzy Dobraiecki, and Artur Barciś, of “You Will Not Love,” plays Butler.
To the IMDban online database of information on audiovisual productions, music and electronic games, “Amor Esquecido” currently scores a 7.6.
