Amazon has announced the renewal of the series Gen V for a second season. The production, a spin-off of the popular series The boys, set in a university setting, will continue to explore the world of young superheroes in training. The news comes as the first season is in its final stretch, with episode 6 titled “Jumanji” about to premiere and the season finale arriving on November 3.
Although the first season only premiered on September 29, Amazon has not yet released data on the series’ performance and the production has not had enough time to enter the Nielsen streaming ratings. However, it is possible that more information on its performance will be available in the coming weeks, if the series manages to earn a place in the Top 10 most watched.
The announcement of the renewal of the series was made on the series’ official social networks and also on Prime Video.
