What if the Gen V series suffered the same fate as its model, The Boys? It’s off to a good start, as the Prime Video platform has just renewed the spin-off for Season 2. The trailer, which was released not too long ago after the first season, is still on the air.
Vernon Sanders, Amazon’s president of TV drama, said in a press release that the series is number one in more than 130 countries. Gen V is also announced as the most watched original program on the platform in 2023.
“We couldn’t be happier working on season two of Gen VVernon Sanders continues. These are the characters and stories we’ve come to love, and we’re thrilled to know the audience feels the same way!”
In other statements, he reveals that the writers have already started work on the second season.
“Year two at Godolkin is going to be crazy, with all the twists, heart, satire and organic explosions you’ve come to expect.“- he adds. We can’t wait.
Gen V is available on Prime Video.
