Beautiful, practical and comfortable finishes

Speaking of convenience, the headset is wireless and has three buttons on the body, one to turn on the equipment, one to change the microphone and one to change the audio style presented. The latter has options for various uses such as games, music, movies and sports. Furthermore, the body of the headphones has another practical structure to increase and decrease the sound of the equipment.

Talking about the biggest differentiator of the product is the wireless feature and I will tell you that it does not disappoint. The Blackshark V2’s battery is considerably long-lasting, even for thick-skinned users. Finally, the headphone microphone also performs its function very well. Even though this part wasn’t the focus of attention, the audio quality captured by the microphone is good.

Total FPS immersion

As stated initially in the text, high sound quality is an important factor in gameplay today. This is an even bigger reality for anyone who is a fan of first-person shooter (FPS) games. Users of Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege and Counter-Strike must be aware of their surroundings very accurately in order to react appropriately.

And in this context the Blackshark V2 Hyperspeed shines. In addition to providing very high quality in general sounds, such as gunshots, grenades and the like, the Razer headphones shine in spatial sound. You will be able to get a sense of everything happening in your surroundings with excellent accuracy, which will put you ahead of your opponents.

Not practical for consoles

Using the Blackshark V2 on the computer was extremely easy, as the headphones paired without any major issues. However, I can’t say the same for consoles. I tested the product with a PlayStation 5 and an Xbox Series S, and connecting it to both was no easy task.

One of the factors that complicates this aspect of the device is the absence of a P2 input. It only has a USB-C input for use when it runs out of battery or to force a connection to your PC if necessary. It’s important to say that this isn’t necessarily a flaw with Blackshark V2, as it appears to be aimed at truly avid PC users.

Overall, Razer headsets are a good option for those who want to raise their game level, especially in FPS games. In Brazil, however, it is difficult to highlight the cost-benefit ratio of the product, as it is not yet available in most outlets.
