Among the many superheroes and supervillains that inhabit the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and therefore the large number of actors who play them on the big screen, three of them – not the least – share the same name: Chris.
First up is muscular Chris Hemsworth, the only actor to date to play the god Thor in the Marvel Universe. It was first released in 2011 in Kenneth Branagh’s eponymous film, a film that would become a franchise in the following years with the release of three other titles: The Dark World (2013), Ragnarok (2017) and the latest, Love. and Thunder (2022).
Then there is Chris Evans, who is already familiar with the Marvel Universe before becoming the famous Captain America. Indeed, the actor has already had the opportunity to play the character of Torch, one of the Fantastic Four, twice, in 2005 and 2007. And he’s not the only star who played multiple characters at the studio!
However, Tim Story’s two Fantastic 4 films are not part of the MCU, which will begin with Iron Man next year. Steve Rogers would make his first major feature film in 2011 with Captain America: The First Avenger, followed by two other sequels, The Winter Soldier (2014) and Civil War (2016).
Finally there is the latest addition to this vast universe adapted from Marvel comics: Chris Pratt, who became Star-Lord, the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) in James Gunn’s film, a director unlike the previous two franchises. The mentioned, does not give up his position and remains at the head of the next two films.
Three crises and a quiz that unites them all, be it in a superhero role or a career, with a simple concept. Here’s a statement, it’s up to you to tell us which Chris fits. Will you be the superhero of this quiz?
