Amber (Claire Romney)’s birthday, the day before her culinary exam, threw freshmen in an awkward position where it all begins. Indeed, Deva (Katie Pakianathan), Tom (Tom Darmon) and Jasmine (Zoe Severin) had an unpleasant surprise when they woke up on the beach on the morning of the test, already a good ten minutes late.
Fortunately, Amber managed to save them for some time. And all the students – including those who arrived on the wire – were able to complete the test as planned. Unfortunately, the result did not live up to the expectations of their teachers. Indeed, while only Kelly (Axel Dodie) and Amber received above-average scores, Tom received 5 and Jasmine received 8. As for Deva, Tessie (Benjamin Barroshe) simply refused to taste her unfinished dish and gave it a zero.
Before Clotilda (Elsa Lungin) tried to get the principal to change her mind about the Deva class, Auguste Armand’s daughter finally explained to her the real reason some of the students were late: they had too many parties the night before. A revelation that did not really please Emmanuel, who then insisted that Deva and her comrades pay for their behavior.

When freshmen are about to leave for the shift, Emmanuel stops them and declares, as a theatrical irony, that all students who are late for the culinary exam will be expelled from the institute and will not participate, even after the exams. Completely offended by this news, Jasmine and Tommy try their best to defend their cause, but to no avail.
This decision of Teis makes them very angry. Indeed, Deva holds Amber responsible for their misfortune and wants revenge at all costs. So he decides to work with the tribe to devise a plan to spoil the young woman’s hall test.
But as the viewer finds out in the following episodes, the director of the institute will go even further with the desire for sanctions and will not stop at students who are late for a culinary exam. According to newsA major argument ensues between Emmanuel and Amber after tasting his cake during a pastry test. As long as Tessie is going to provoke her at her party, Amber is not going to lie to the words and is going to insult her by saying go to hell.
