A 53-year-old woman was hospitalized for a stroke and died

The wake of a 53-year-old woman was interrupted after her son noticed that his mother’s body showed signs of violence. The case happened last Sunday, the 29th, in Irará, about 135 km from Salvador, Bahia.

According to information from TV Subaé, an affiliate of TV Bahia, the woman was Marilene Carla Martins dos Santos, who had signs of violence on her head, nose and lip.

Her son, Kauã Martins dos Santos, reported to the Civil Police that his mother was admitted to the Municipal Hospital of Irará for a stroke on Saturday night, the 28th, and died.

The information was confirmed at Earth by the Civil Police. The authority reported that the incident was registered as a death to be clarified at the Territorial Police Station (DT) of Irará, on Sunday morning (29). An expert guide will have to be issued and hearings will be held to try to clarify what happened.

TV Subaé also reported that Kauã said her mother had gone out with her boyfriend on Saturday, before she was admitted to hospital. After his death, his companion disappeared and was never found. He also blocked the victim’s phone number.

After the complaint, Marilene’s body was taken to the Technical Police Department of Feira de Santana for an autopsy.
