Delayed by the writers’ strike – now over – and the actors’ strike still going on, Stranger Things season 5 isn’t quite ready to hit our screens. At least not until the end of 2025. The young cast continues to grow, which may cause the story to have connection issues. The latter should usually happen immediately after the end of the 4th season.
In recent statements, producer Sean Levy explained that the production will do everything to make the aging of the stars of the series as little noticeable as possible. Since then, the commentary has changed somewhat, with some rumors talking about artificial intelligence to rejuvenate the casting. But what is it really?
Sean Levy, who also directed two episodes of Season 4, explained that no amount of technology will make the actors look younger. “MI was surprised that the sentence I said on this topic was so widely circulatedhe explains Deadline. It’s important to remember that we know what we’re doing with this series. Our cast is brilliant. The characters that the Duffer brothers created are very vivid. I have no doubt that everyone will be able to return to their place to bring them back to life.”
Three years after Season 4 wrapped filming, Season 5 is still on hold. Even if the actors’ strike ends soon, the production will take some time to get the green light. Sean Levy says to the entire team “Jump for a whileOn the idea of returning to work:What people need to remember is that we who make the show are also fans. And believe me, we don’t want to miss each other.”
