Camping Paradis on TF1: A new series around a recurring character is coming soon!

Good news for Camping Paradis fans! Since 2006, the TF1 series, which has the smell of holidays, brings us back to the camp and its special atmosphere every summer (but not only!).

A success that continues year after year, to the point where Camping Paradis has become one of the oldest TF1 series still on air, behind Josephine, Patron Saint of Anger! Five new episodes of Camping Paradis this summer attracted between 3.6 and 4.5 million people, allowing TF1 to systematically take the lead in television audiences.

The series regularly rewards good viewership, whether with special episodes set in a setting other than the camp in the South run by protagonist Tom Delormes (Laurent Urnack), or even crossover Along with another iconic TF1 series, Joséphine. But even after 17 years of existence, what is in store is a first for Camping Paradis.

Outside of camp life, Parisot loves to investigate

According to the information of our colleagues Recreational televisionTF1 will soon release a will spin From his cult series, which revolves around a recurring character in Camping Paradis, namely Christian Parisot (Patrick Parrow), the most famous camper! This new series should be called Parizot investigates.

With this spin-off series, the channel aims to answer a question you may have already asked yourself while watching Camping Paradis: But what does Mr. Pariseau do outside of camping at Tom’s Camp every summer?

TF1 has already given some answers in 2018 during the first of two special episodes with Mimi Mathis, the so-called Three camps and a wedding. Josephine helped the owner of Camping Paradis, who was invited to the wedding of her ex, whom she has not seen for five years and with whom she remains somewhat ambivalent. In this episode, Patrick Parrow plays the deputy mayor in charge of the wedding ceremony, which is none other than… Christian Pariseau!

In Parizot investigates, TF1 audiences are to discover that the grumpy but endearing camper is one who is deeply bored all year round at home in Colmar. Until the day he learns about the death of one of his neighbors. When the will was opened, Parisot had doubts: were all the heirs really sincere? It didn’t take long for Christian Parisot to decide to investigate. Still according to Télé Loisirs, filming in Alsace should begin in mid-November.

Patrick Parrow’s already busy career before Camping Paradis

Before shooting at Camping Paradis, 70-year-old Patrick Parous already had a long career behind him. In film, he most notably appeared in the film The Fairy Tale Fate of Amelie Poulin in 2001. The actress recently played a small role in Bernadette, a film inspired by the life of Bernadette Chirac. In the theater, Patrick Parrow has acted in at least thirty productions since the 1990s, but has also directed ten others. On television, the actress appeared in episodes of several series such as Navarro (1997), H (1998), Father and Mary (2003) and Sœur Thérèse.com (2006).

It was in 2009, in the fourth episode of Camping Paradis, that Patrick Parrow became Christian Parisot, an old grumbler who has been faithful to the camp for more than 35 years. Faced with the series audience’s attachment to this unusual character that many people identify with, Mr. Parisot subsequently returns for several episodes before becoming a full-fledged recurring character on Camping Paradis. We know the rest today. A little boom boom holiday to celebrate?
