The film collected R$20.3 million upon its launch here, and was seen by 1.07 million people between Thursday (October 26) and Sunday (29). With this, the Universal production also won the title of biggest horror premiere of 2023 in Brazil.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Neverending Nightmare is an adaptation of the video game series of the same name. The games, released in 2014, are set in a pizzeria that has an animatronic bear as its mascot. With the arrival of a new night security guard on site, the goal is to survive the night, which reveals several bizarre animatronics inhabiting the place.
The live-action is now available for streaming in some countries, such as Peacock in the US. However, there are no predictions for its debut in Brazil, nor when or where it will be released. It is likely that the horror will be available for digital purchase or rental on Prime Video, as is the case with many productions (forecasts point to November 28).
