Matthew Perry wanted to make a biopic about his life with Zac Efron, says friend

Matthew Perrystar of Friendswho passed away on October 28th, intended to portray his recovery from drug addiction in a biopic starring Zac Efronwith whom he worked on the film 17 again2009.

The person who revealed the information was the actor’s friend, Athena Crosbywho reportedly went out to lunch with Perry the day before his death:

“He told me he wanted to make a film about his life. And he also said that since he had worked with Zac Efron before, he was planning to call him and ask him to play him in his youth.”told the ET Canada.

“Matthew was excited to share more of his story with people, talk about his recovery from addiction, and really support this cause to help others. To me, he seemed optimistic and happy about everything that was to come.”Crosby added.

Matthew Perry was found dead in his home in Los Angeles on October 28th. According to information from the TMZwhich reported the death firsthand, rescuers were called to provide care to a victim and found the actor lifeless in a jacuzzi installed in the residence, leading to the assumption of drowning.

However, the autopsy conducted on the actor’s body was inconclusive and Perry’s cause of death must be resolved after the release of the results of toxicological tests carried out by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office (IML).
