Austin Butler in Spectacular New War Series From Spielberg: Discover Airbenders Trailer

It’s a long-awaited project announced in 2019 between Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Gottzman that is finally seeing the light of day. The iconic trio offers a sequel to their war TV masterpieces – Band of Brothers and The Pacific – to complete the series trilogy, not on HBO like the two previously mentioned fictions, but on Apple TV+.

The platform paid between $250 million and $300 million for this new television juggernaut, which promises to offer fans a great show. Donald L. Based on Miller’s 2007 book and created by John Orloff, this new series titled Masters of the Air takes place during World War II, as does Band of Brothers and the Pacific.

Masters of the Air tells the story of the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundred”) as they carry out dangerous bombing raids over Nazi Germany, battling extreme weather, lack of oxygen and the horrors of fighting at 25,000 feet.

This major new piece of fiction seeks to describe the psychological and emotional impact of these young men as they helped end the horrors of the Third Reich. Some were shot and captured, others were wounded or killed. And still others were lucky enough to return home. Whatever their fate, they all paid the price.

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for Masters of the Air, and it’s safe to say that these spectacular images in the air and on the ground promise a spectacular and massive series that is set to launch in 2024.

Whoever says a special story, says a special casting. Masters of the Air can count on such new film faces as Austin Boulter (Elvis), Callum Turner (Fantastic Beasts), Barry Keoghan (The Banshees of Inishrein), Nkuti Gatwa (Sex Education), Anthony Boyle (Conspiracy Against America), Freddie Carter (The Shadow and Bone), Nikolai Kinski (Yves Saint Laurent), Belle Paul (Glimmer of Hope) and Joanna Kulig (Cold War).

With a hefty budget, master production, a dream cast and a powerful story, this new series directed by Anna Boden, Ryan Fleck, Cary Joji Fukunaga, Dee Rees and Tim Van Patten is sure to keep fans on their toes. Genre and big spectacle, it’s back on the big screen with a bang after the success of Top Gun: Maverick.

Masters of the Air promises to be a series event in early 2024. This new fiction from the Steven Spielberg – Tom Hanks – Gary Gottzman trio will be available from Friday, January 26, 2024 with its first two episodes. The rest of the season, consisting of a total of nine episodes, will then be available one episode per week until March 15.
