Blue, red, green: colorful shadows are trending at SPFW

Among the main makeup trends of the 56th edition of SPFW, colored eyeshadows dominated the catwalks of brands of all styles, from the most sophisticated ones to streetwear.

And there is something for all tastes. The colors range from blue, green and red. They appear smoky or with geometric lines or cat-eye. And anyone who thinks it’s only for women is wrong. Men also appear with streaks and colors in their eyes.

It could be just to give it a catwalk effect or, who knows, to enjoy that popular evening. And if you want ideas for New Year’s Eve and/or Carnival you can also get inspired. Look at the 10 examples paraded in the first three days of the event, which will end this Sunday (12th).

Blue

I'm from Cotton

The Sou de Algodão movement, which paid homage to the 150th anniversary of the jeans patent, intensively introduced the color indigo into eyeshadow, used on almost the entire lid above the eyes.

Blue was also present on the catwalk of Patricia Viera, who presented a show inspired by the disco era of the 70s. At the time, blue dominated the eyes, both on the upper and lower eyelids. Make sure the rest of your makeup is bare.

Patricia Viera’s blue-green is perfect for all skin tones. The gloss finishes the make-up with a light complexion.

Apartment 03

Designer Luiz Claudio, of Apartamento 03, took inspiration from blue for his winter 2024 collection. The accessories and eyeshadow did not shy away from the color. In the eyes, strong lines ending in a line beyond the eyelid. The rest is also naked.

Green

Marina Bitu

Inspired by mushrooms, Ceará brand Marina Bitu brought green eyeshadows all over the eye contour.

Red

Greg Joey

Smoky red was Greg Joey’s choice for the eyes, both top and bottom, finishing with a cat eye created with eyeshadow.

STO

Red eye contour, including the tear duct, was also an option on the HIST newcomer.

Men

Raffaele Caetano

Red and white threads were Rafael Caetano’s choice to create the beauty of the catwalk of his fashion show, which featured the actor Klebber Toledo. A great option for clubs, New Year and Carnival.
