The Santos coach thanks the sprint team: “Great satisfaction”

After a long series of games without a win, Santos recovered in the Brazilian championship and opened a gap away from the relegation zone. One of the main culprits for this surge, coach Marcelo Fernandes thanked the Juventus team on Sunday.

After the 0-0 draw against São Paulo, in Vila Belmiro, the commander declared that the players are very focused on saving Peixe from an unprecedented relegation.

With the draw with Sao Paulo, Santos wasted a good opportunity to gain another advantage over the relegation zone. The team is 14th, with 42 points, seven more than Cruzeiro, which opens the Z4.
