And a new series in the world of Jurassic Park! Netflix has just released the first teaser for Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, its new co-production between Universal, Dreamworks Animation and Amblin Entertainment. It is a direct sequel to La Colo du Cretaceous, which ended after 5 seasons. Fans will also be excited to see Darius Bowman’s character on their screen, who has grown a lot.
The trailer for Jurassic World: Chaos Theory doesn’t show much other than a good old T-Rex in action. Except she joins the world of men where she sows discord, just like in The World After (the movie is out in 2022). Since the Jurassic Park series and movies are interconnected, it’s no surprise that dinosaurs are taking over our world.
The title of this new production is not insignificant. Chaos Theory directly addresses the character of Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) in Spielberg’s directorial debut. In the scene above, he popularly explains the unpredictability of the world around us to Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern).
If the promise is kept, Chaos Theory could become as successful as Colo du Cretaceous. Although we know that the series will be released on Netflix in 2024, there is no release date yet.
