After an absence of more than a year, Plus belle la vie is preparing to make its grand return on TF1 on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 1 p.m. with a new name: Plus belle la vie, even more beautiful.
A continuation of the great expectations of the fans, which will see the return of many emblematic characters that have marked the France 3 series for almost 18 years, and which will also be marked by the arrival of new actors, such as Jade Pradin (Clem), or even Anthony Joubert.
On Monday, October 23rd, filming began on Plus belle la vie in the legendary Belle de Mai studios, but also in the small village of Alauch, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, which will now serve as a setting for the famous Place du Mistral.
Are the decorations damaged?
But according to information confirmed by the magazine the audience, filming would be far from idyllic. Our colleagues confirm that the residents of Alauchi village will not be happy to see production groups invading their town.
“On shoot days, technicians arrive at 6 a.m. and drag all the suitcases across the cobblestone streets. This noise woke us up! It is unbearable“Some residents complained about the public microphone.
Another neighbor condemns the demand for parking spaces by the TV series teams. Despite this, according to the magazine, the newly painted decorations by the teams were vandalized overnight.
“The shops in the square were freshly painted by the manufactures to match the plots. For example, the facade of the bar, Hostellerie, became the facade of Cafe du Mistral. We have also combined a medical office, a hardware store or a hairdresser. But at night a great black wave splashed against the walls“, the witness said.
Allakhi City Hall denies it
When contacted by AlloCiné, Allauch City Hall insisted on denying this information. “There is a lot of nonsense in social networks“, the City Hall employee explained, before adding:Everyone picks things up exponentially. In the first media there was only a tag, in the second the sets were damaged and in the last it looked like there was a revolution. This is not true at all.”
If the city hall confirms that there were tags on the filming of Plus belle la vie, it still wants to clarify that these tags are not the work of villagers. “On the first day, there were small labels hanging on the walls, but they had nothing to do with the residents of the city.”
“Of course, we are in a small village, so not all residents are 100% satisfied. There will always be people who say it’s a bit noisy, but at the moment it’s going well. We are used to it, we have been working with Plus belle la vie for eight years.”
The collaboration between the village of Allauch and the production of Plus belle la vie is therefore not ready to end.
