Christoph has a nightmare

Early in the morning, Christophe is making breakfast for Cecile and Achille when Elise and Hugo arrive to stop him. Although he maintains his innocence, the vet was rushed to the police station. Once there, the latter, who is tied to a chair, confesses and admits to being a florist. Although Kristoff claims that he has killed many people for the good of society, Cecile makes him realize that he can tell himself what he wants, but that he is just a murderer in her eyes. Kristoff then smiles and then reminds him that he saved his life by ridding the world of all these criminals. When he pleads with his wife to keep doing him good, Cecil replies that he will be locked up and he will personally ensure that he never leaves the prison. After she starts screaming, Kristoff wakes up and realizes that it was all just a bad nightmare.

Afterwards, Cecile seems particularly estranged from her husband. The latter tries to convince him to spend the morning in bed, but the judge pretends that he has a lot of work to do.

Meanwhile, Janet tells Becker that she will no longer go on marauding trips with Father Silvio. News that particularly pleases the commissioner.

Later, Becker and Cecil ask questions about the florist’s sketch. Indeed, Commissioner Becker fears that the suspect’s face is a pure invention of Gael Lestrac. Because a serial killer saved his life, a police officer thinks a young woman is leading him on a false trail.

The judge and commissioner then meet with Hugo to learn more about the florist’s profile. After going through the serial killer’s list of alleged crimes, the criminologist notes some similarities. If every victim has a criminal past, there is also a recurring element at every crime scene: a drop of blood, the florist’s signature. According to him, the florist considers himself a vigilante who intervenes where the police cannot. Hugo goes even further and explains that he is not content to just kill his victims, but to wipe them off the face of the earth in order to grant himself a divine position. So Cecil realizes that they are looking for someone who has faith or who is probably under a mystical illusion.

At the church, Father Silvio confides in Christophe about his heartbreak. Because he finds it so difficult to part with Janet, the loan holder plans to leave Montpellier to turn the page.

In the evening, Cecile, Christophe and Achille meet for dinner and the discussion quickly turns to religion. While she asks if her husband is a believer, she replies that he is an atheist and assures her that this will not change.

Hugo confronts Sabine

Hugo tries to deal with his breakup with Sabine and waits for her outside the house hoping to have a discussion. When she wants to know why he is behaving like this with her, Sabine accuses him of lying to her for weeks. Although he admits that he has liked her for a long time, the forensic doctor insists that he did not want to manipulate her. However, Sabine is fed up with men lying to get out of the way and ends the conversation before leaving.

At the end of the day, Alix and Hugo are at Les Sauvages for a drink. An opportunity for a criminalist to talk about his heartache. Tired of hearing her whine, Alix pretends she has a lot of work to run.

Sabina joins Eva at the bar and tells her about her discussion with Hugo. While the French teacher wonders if she really has moved on from Dimitri, Sabine confirms that she has and says she’s ready to meet new people. And to prove it, Sabine confronts the man at the next table, whom she invites to join them. Unfortunately, the latter is especially annoying.
