Seneme highlights the possible participation of a Brazilian trio in the European Championship: ‘very good expectations’

Wilson Seneme, president of the CBF Referee Commission, underlined the credibility of Brazilian arbitration in Europe, following UEFA’s invitation to two Brazilian referees to participate in a course to be held in Cyprus.

Assistant referees Bruno Boschilia and Bruno Pires have been invited by UEFA to participate in the eighth UEFA Course for International Assistant Referees, which will be held from 24 to 27 January 2024.

Seneme commented on the refereeing exchange between Comebol and UEFA, revealed the participation of Wilton Pereira Sampaio in the course for central referees of the European entity and highlighted the possibility that the Brazilian refereeing trio will participate in the next European Cup; watch.

-Months ago, Wilton Sampaio attended the UEFA course for central referees. There is an exchange between UEFA and Conmebol, especially with the aim of appointing these referees for tournaments. There is great expectation for this trio, Wilton Sampaio, Bruno Boschilia and Bruno Pires, to participate in the European Championship, just as a European trio will probably make it to the Copa América. All this demonstrates the credibility of Brazilian arbitration in the world and makes us very satisfied, said Wilson Seneme.
