Warning, spoilers. The following paragraphs show plot elements from the series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

Airing from November 10 on Paramount+ in France, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the fifth spin-off from the Walking Dead universe. This new series of Daryl Dixon’s wildly popular character takes fans to France!

The Waking Dead: Daryl Dixon, the hero played by Norman Reedus, finds himself on our land and will do anything to return home. But before he can hope for his family, Daryl will have to carry out a dangerous mission: to protect Laurent (Luis Puech Schigliuz), a child who is considered to be the Messiah in this apocalyptic context, and take him to a safe place in order to save humanity.

He is accompanied by Isabelle (Clémence Poésy), a fighter operating under a religious cover, and Sylvie (Laïka Blanc-Francard) on a trip to France that takes him particularly to Paris.

What is Norman Reedus’ favorite scene in the Daryl Dixon series?

There are some great scenes in the French capital throughout the season, including Norman Reedus’ favorite scene, and he’s not even in it! This is the opening of Episode 2: a flashback to the start of the zombie invasion in Paris through Isabelle’s eyes as she returns from a party and takes the subway.

When it was released in the US two months ago, the sequel already caused a lot of talk – and even laughs due to the beret-wearing zombie – but it remains very surprising because it goes back to the origins of the invasion. And what could be more disturbing to the French than a subway armored with zombies?

“It’s one of my favorite scenes and I’m not even in it. I love the story. I love watching a sophisticated city like Paris when it first realizes what’s going on. Accidents, fires… He’s on the subway and he’s wondering what’s going on and trying to understand the situation.” . Norman Reedus told us in an interview.

The actor was full of respect for his co-star, French actor Clemens Poesy, who is followed by everyone in Hollywood:

“These are my favorite moments in the apocalypse series: watching the collapse begin. It was so interesting to work with Clemens. He’s so smart and so intuitive. He takes his time. He thinks what he thinks. He says. He’s authentic as an actor and as a person. But in the Paris Metro, this event It was a really cool sequence to watch.”
