Warning, this article contains spoilers for the final episode of HPI Season 2, which airs this Thursday evening on TF1. If you have not seen it yet, do not read the following lines!
HPI Season 2 ends after 8 episodes on TF1 tonight, which is rich in twists. And in the last part, Roxana (Clotilda Hesme), the new girlfriend of Karadek (Mehdi Nebibu), is in critical condition after her mysterious attack.
For Morgan (Audrey Flerot) there is no doubt it all has to do with the death of Romain, an IGPN agent for his ex-wife and his daughter’s father, who reopened the investigation before the tragedy. With the help of a teammate, he will begin an investigation to find out what really happened on the day of the death of the man he considers the man of his life.
This investigation will lead him to sink into the past and return to his father, played by Patrick Chesney, who, despite all the chances, seems to have something to do with Roman’s disappearance. And after many discoveries, Morgan and Karadeck go to Brighton, where they come face to face with Roman, who is still alive.
The least unexpected discovery that will irritate a former maid and that promises many surprises for Season 3 is already in writing.
If in the first season Romain played many flashbacks to Nicolas Baysin, the model who made his feature film debut for the occasion, the HPI producer decided to arrange another one for the new scenes of the second season. A more experienced actor and thus the interpretation of this main character is Ando Xavier Hosten, an actor who is well known to fans of movies and TV series.
It was in 2006 that the young Belgian actress debuted on the big screen in Sylvie Aime’s film “My Daughters” with Lea Seidou and Stephanie Sokolinski. Three years later, he looked great in an episode of Les Bleus Season 3: First Steps to the Police, before getting small roles in TV movies for France 2 (Louis XV, Black Sun, Fracture) and in series such as Gears and. Interpol.
In 2017, Xavier Hosten starred opposite Julia Piaton and Charles Burling in GlacĂ©, an M6 detective thriller set in the Pyrenees. The following year he landed the role of Timo in Maman a tort, a 6-episode mini-series adapted from Michelle Buss’s novel of the same name. Xavier Hosten recently appeared in the 17th season of Alice Nevers, as well as in the tenth season of Candice Renoir.
As for Nicholas Baysin, the first-season romance, he joined the cast in October 2021. Tomorrow belongs to us, the TF1 daily series in which he played Jim Irving during the Narrative Ark.
