This temperature equaled the 2023 heat record and the highest temperature on a November day, previously recorded on 11/13/23.
The threshold of 37.7°C is the second highest temperature recorded by Inmet in São Paulo, since at least 1943. The highest historical record is 37.8°C, on 10/17/2014.

The end of the heat is near
Sao Paulo still has a chance to break the all-time heat record on Thursday, when Climatempo again predicts the possibility of temperatures reaching 38°C by next Thursday, November 16. From Friday onwards the heat begins to decrease and the passage of a cold front over the weekend definitively lowers the temperature. The difference between Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon is expected to be around 10°C.
