Will Roshdi Zemi become France’s Denzel Washington? The actor, who won a César for his role in Roubaix, Une Lumière, will star in Florentine Sire’s new action film: Fatum. This is an old timer character in the tradition of Taken with Liam Neeson or The Equalizer with Denzel Washington.

The 58-year-old actor will slip into the costume of Elias, a former special forces soldier. The latter is lonely and paranoid after Afghanistan. He is recruited to ensure the safety of Amina and her daughter, 13-year-old Noor, both from the emirate and fleeing prison. As the commandos take down the two women and unleash hell, Elias becomes the mighty warrior he once was and will stop at nothing to save them.
