From November 10, the Daryl Dixon series is offered exclusively in France on the Paramount+ platform.
This new series from the Walking Dead universe follows the unique adventures of the character played by Norman Reedus, who has gone to France for mysterious reasons. The shooting of the series took place in the Paris region, but also in the emblematic places of our country.
The launch of this new series comes almost a year after the last episode of the horror program aired. Since then, another spin-off has seen the light of day: called Dead City, this series featuring Maggie and Negan is set in Manhattan and sees the unlikely duo hunt for Herschel, captured by Negan’s former sidekick.
In an interview he gave us, Dead City creator Eli Jorne confirmed that all of the Walking Dead spin-offs take place in related timelines. Moreover, the head of the franchise, Scott M. Gimple recently confided that he dreams of all the series crossing over for a special crossover or twelfth season.
Despite this link that connects all manufactured products, the series are not directly related to each other. So it’s entirely possible to watch Daryl Dixon without seeing a single episode of Dead City.
However, it is recommended to watch the original series to remember Daryl’s whole journey and especially his friendship with Carol (who will return for a second season, already ordered and currently filming).
You can watch Season 1 of Daryl Dixon every week exclusively on Paramount+.
