David Fincher’s new film has just been released on Netflix. The Assassin is one of the best films the service has released this year and should please John Wick fans.

Forget Hidden agent, Agent Stone and others: after a whole series of disappointments due to overpriced blockbusters, Netflix’s best film of the year was released on November 10th. The film of the great director David Fincher (Seven, Fight club) called The killer. The main role in realistic response to John Wick is played by the star of X-Men, Michael Fassbender.



A job goes horribly wrong in David Fincher’s new Netflix thriller

Fassbender plays a nameless assassin who, in his own words, carries out his job with the utmost perfectionism. At least that’s what it seems at first, as he prepares for a murder-for-hire in Paris. However, he makes a mistake with serious consequences. The killer has to escape without having achieved anything and therefore becomes the target of a retaliatory action. He doesn’t let this get him down.

David Fincher has been working since 2007 on the adaptation of a graphic novel by Alexis “Matz” Nolent and Luc Jacamon. He also worked with the screenwriter again Andrew Kevin Walker for the movie. 16 years later, The Killer is a reality in more ways than one.
