Xiaomi surprised the public by announcing its new mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Note 13R Pro, in China today. After what was leaked in recent days, Xiaomi revealed the Note 13R Pro highlighting its 108 MP camera, long battery life and thin and light body. Visually it is practically identical to the Redmi Note 13 5G, with the big news that the camera module has been extended laterally, now occupying almost the entire upper part of the back cover.

On the front, like other devices in the series, such as the Redmi Note 13 Pro, it has an OLED screen with very thin edges around it, and it also has a centralized hole for storing the front camera.
With a body with flat lines, the device has only two rear cameras, with a straight side and its buttons all positioned on the right: the power button also doubles as a fingerprint reader.
Eventually, he got a new color as a big change. While the Note 13 is sold in black, white, and blue, the Note 13R Pro is offered in black, blue, and gold.
Redmi Note 13R Pro has a lot of memory
The Redmi Note 13R Pro was introduced with memories galore. The model will be offered in a single variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space, leaving out the options of the older brother with 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal space.
Its processor is the same MediaTek Dimensity 6080, a platform with eight cores and a maximum clock of 2.4 GHz — essentially, it’s a renamed version of the old Dimensity 810used in models like Infinix Hot 20.

It has a 6.67-inch screen with AMOLED technology, Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, with almost 90% use of the front surface. Additionally, the device is to have a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging. The only hardware change here is the addition of NFC, which is not present in the Note 13 5G.
Finally, as regards the photographic sector, the device has a 108 MP main rear camera, together with a 2 MP secondary depth camera, while the front camera is 16 MP.
Price and availability
The Redmi Note 13R Pro is now available in China at the official price of 1,999 yuan, approximately R$ 1,360 in direct conversion and without the addition of national taxes. This price is a bit curious, given that the Redmi Note 13 5G with the same 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs 1,699 yuan, around R$ 1,150.
In any case, the Note 13R Pro can be purchased in black, blue and gold, and its release on the international market is not yet planned. On the other hand, it is rumored that it will be used as the basis for the launch of the alleged PocoX6Neowhich could arrive in December.
