Christopher Nolan announces that, after ‘Oppenheimer’, his next film will be “lighter”

Christopher Nolandirector of ‘Oppenheimer’in an interview with the portal Yahoo!about making the film available on streaming platforms, he assumed that in his next film he intends to address “lighter” themes and will leave the theme of ‘Oppenheimer’ back even after the great success of the production.

“I mean, of course it’s a great privilege to be able to continue talking about this film and celebrating its success, but at the same time, it has a very dark and nihilistic theme. And, yes, part of me is already eager to get over it. that and do something that is lighter”, pointed out the director.

The film, which covers the story of the scientist responsible for the atomic bomb construction project, featured big names in cinema such as Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh and Gary Oldman. Furthermore, ‘Oppenheimer’ reached second place in the highest box office for those over 18 years old, totaling more than US$900 million, losing only to ‘Joker’which currently accumulates US$1.06 billion.
