Napoleon Bonaparte played by Joaquin Phoenix is almost here. The final trailer of the film was released by Sony Pictures. Filled with scenes of great battles, the preview also shows the profound dramas experienced by the famous French emperor.
The trailer also features a bit of Napoleon’s relationship with Josephine (Vanessa Kirby), as well as the emperor’s rise and fall.
According to Apple TV+, “the film is an original and personal look at Napoleon’s origins and his rapid and unstoppable rise to emperor, seen through the prism of his compelling and often volatile relationship with his wife and true love, Josephine.”
In addition to Joaquin Phoenix and Vanessa Kirby, the cast of Napoleon presents Tahar Rahim (Paradise and the Serpent) and Rupert Everett (My best friend’s Wedding). The film is directed by Ridley Scott and is considered the director’s greatest work since the iconic Gladiator2000.
