X-Men’s Living Island Dons Stark Armor and Becomes “Iron Krakoa”

Iron Man recently joined the X-Men and now the living island Krakoa will don his own costume designed by Tony Stark

The X-Men are very close to the end of the Krakoan era after the saga Fall of Xshowing the decline of mutants after Hell Massacre Gala 2023. After being decimated by the supremacist organization Orchis and its Stark Sentinels, the remaining heroes have picked up the pieces to take revenge. For this, anything goes, even putting the living island Krakoa itself in an Iron Man armor.

Tony Stark has been a lot closer to the X-Men lately, especially after Feilong stole their intellectual properties and used them to build the Stark Sentinels supplied to Orchis. To try to get his plans back, Iron Man married the White Queen, Emma Frost, and joined the Hellfire Club.

Iron Man currently uses the Mark Nil armor, the only one left as an intellectual property and which offers some interesting features, such as sticking to walls like Spider-Man or becoming immaterial in the best Vision style. Now, as he builds a new suit using the mystery of mutant metal, he will lend his latest suit to Krakoa.

But how will Krakoa use the armor?

The next X-Men series, The Rise of X’s Powers AND Fall of the House of, they already have promotional material and the promotional and previews reveal what the team’s lineup will be during the final farewell to the Krakoan Era. The group includes Wolverine, Synch, Ms. wonder as Captain Krakoa, Kate Pryde as a tough version of Black Lynx, and, apparently, Iron Man in the Mark Nil armor.

This, apparently, because you only need to look closer to notice that there are roots protruding from the joints of the armor, just like those that characterize Krakoa’s look. The living island first appeared in 1975 and survives by sucking energy from mutants. In 2019, writer Jonathan Hickman overhauled the X-Men line and established a new status quo for the place, which became the official nation of the Children of the Atom, be they heroes or villains.

In Hickman’s phase, we see that the real enemy of mutants is not humans, but artificial intelligence, which will one day develop guidelines based on the hatred imputed to the Sentinels. The Rise of X’s Powers shows that the final battle took place, ten years after the end of the Krakoan era Fall of the House of.

The series will see the robot god known as Dominion return to Earth, with only Synch’s X-Men to stop him. Fall of the House of X #1 the release is scheduled for January 3rd, while The Rise of the Powers of X #1 It will arrive on foreign newsstands on January 10th.
