Rose tells her story to Carla
Everyone at the institute finds the posters Carla put up the day before accusing Rose of murder. Leonard is shocked to see them in turn. Salome confirms that it is, but has an explanation. At the same time, Suleiman and Rose arrive in the corridor. Angered, Suleiman takes a few posters as he leaves. Salome and Leonard arrest their abduction.
Mairiel then cuts to the promos for clarification: she defends Rose and reminds us that her personal life is nobody’s business. He then goes to see Rose and Suleiman. The latter easily suspects Carla of putting up the posters because she was forced to tell him the truth about her origins the day before. Rose doesn’t blame him. On the contrary, he puts the blame on himself and thinks that it is too late for Karla to forgive him.
In class, Malik whispers to Suleiman that Rose did not deserve this treatment. Upon hearing this, Carla allows herself to proclaim out loud that Rose is her biological mother and that she killed her father. He adds that he is indeed the author of the posters without any regrets. Suleiman glares at him.
After class, she meets him outside, trying to make him realize that she doesn’t know the full context of his story. She also reveals that Rose was going to tell her the truth herself, but decided against it because Carla suddenly wasn’t sure she wanted to know her biological parents. Despite Carla’s refusal, Suleiman insists that he has a discussion with Rose. At the same time, Teissier arrives to take Carla away to be summoned to his office.
The director of the institute considers his behavior unacceptable. Rose then arrives at the office just as Tessier decides to fire Carla. He defends his daughter, justifies her behavior. Therefore, Teissier will reconsider his decision, provided that Carla does not cause any further scandal.
At the park, Rose joins Carla to talk to her and give her side of the story. He tells her that he really wanted her and that he loved her pregnancy. But at that time, Raphael interfered with his treatment, which is why he lived in a daze. She always believed that she gave birth to a dead child. But he claims that if he had known it was all fake, he would have done anything to find it. A shocked Carla leaves.
Rose goes to Antoine’s house, hoping that her daughter will eventually return there. Wracked with guilt, Rose concludes that she is not cut out to be a mother. Antoine contradicts him: on the contrary, he claims that fate has put Carla on her path. Touched, Rose leans in to kiss her ex. After making sure he was sure of himself, Antoine kissed the back of the…
Lionel spreads rumors about Clotilde and Mark
In the locker room, Lionel takes advantage of the various rumors surrounding Rose at the Institute. He wonders how long it takes for a rumor to spread. Kelly, who thinks his idea is stupid, forbids its implementation.
In the amphitheater, Clotilda prepares her first module for graduate students. After not sleeping all night, Chef Armand is so stressed that he asks Marc to replace him. Leroy comforts her, then takes her in his arms. A gesture that does not escape Livio, Enzo and Lionel. The latter leads his friends to believe that the two chefs had an affair when Leroy was teaching at the institute, about ten years ago. However, he makes Enzo and Livio promise not to repeat anything to anyone.
In the cafeteria, Solali reveals to Lionel and Kelly that she heard Clotilda and Mark had an affair 10 years ago. Penelope, sitting at the next table, listens to him. As he leaves, Lionel looks at his watch and figures it will take at least four hours for the rumor to spread. Kelly realizes that her boyfriend is the root of this whole thing and is furious with him.
In the locker room, Penelope immediately tells Billy about the rumor. He doesn’t believe it at all. However, Penelope questions herself as Joachim admits to being jealous of Clotilda and Mark’s relationship. He also specified that his partner had promised that their relationship would always be only friendly. So Penelope hesitates to tell Joachim about the rumours. Bill strongly advises her against it, pointing out that she is not necessarily objective because Joachim loves her.
Berenice was immersed in her worries
In the kitchen, Salome is not the only one who notices that Judah is overly excited. Beren is also surprised by his behavior. A bit later, she sees David sneaking a clove, useful enough to mask the smell of alcohol, which Judy wisely swallows.
At the commissary, Berenice surprises Jude and David while drinking. Getting down to business, they explain the concept of micro-dosing – a cap every two hours – and the rules they set themselves – they always do – to gain confidence. Faced with Bernice’s skepticism, David tells her that Jude was able to convince Teissier to be his project director thanks to this technique. If she doesn’t stick to the concept at all, Berenia still agrees not to throw them away.
In the amphitheater, Teissier summons the students to tell them what the next week’s exams will involve. First years will have to reproduce a dish from a one star gourmet restaurant, second years from a two star gourmet restaurant and finally third year from a three star gourmet restaurant. He adds that the order in which stocks are passed will be drawn by lottery, which will leave certain students less time to revise. Jasmin worries that she is too far behind in her exams. On the other hand, Berenice was overcome by stress.
In Double A, Judy takes over the evening service because Salome is late. With David, he notices that Berenia is all stressed out. He confesses to them that he feels he cannot pass the exams. David has a ready solution to his problem. She is interrupted by Rose, who has come to ask Berenice to participate in the traditional first-year promotional interviews. Although she is not at all excited about this idea, the young girl accepts.
