Taylor Swift: Film about The Eras Tour enters the Book of Records

Recording of the singer’s current tour became the highest-grossing concert film in cinema history

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Concert Filmconcert film recording the current tour of Taylor Swiftwhich ended its visit to Brazil last Sunday (26), entered the Guinness World Records, the Book of Records, with the highest box office collection for a production of its kind in the history of cinema.

Currently, the worldwide box office is close to US$249 million, according to information from Box Office Mojo.

Before that, the production, which presents the show in honor of the 17-year career of Taylor Swift, had already broken the record for the biggest opening for a concert film by grossing US$109 million (R$543 million) in its first five days in theaters. The previous record belonged to Justin Bieber: Never Say Neverlong Justin bieberwhich made $99 million in its opening weekend in 2011.
