December is fast approaching, Christmas trees are starting to decorate the living rooms, garlands are decorating the windows and balconies… Many have already started the Christmas movie marathon. And like every year, Netflix offers its subscribers magical (or almost) new features…
And among them, the film Hello Christmas Spirit, which arrived on the platform a few days ago and whose synopsis: When a twist of fate brings their families together for Christmas, Charlotte takes the opportunity to show her old friend Jack that her life is too good to be true.
This Christmas production marks the return to our screens of 90s stars including Heather Graham (Boogie Nights), Brandi Norwood (Moesha) and Jason Biggs (American Pie).
Despite a decent length of 1 hour 20 minutes and a synopsis that seems to hold, Hello the Spirit of Christmas has set a record since its arrival: the lowest rated Christmas movie on our site with a very poor 1.8/5. And the reviews on the page give a pretty good overview of the product:
“Christmas movies that are a little gross, or even silly, I’m not going to lie, they’re my hobby. I like bad Christmas movies, there’s something comforting about them. But you can’t really, I gave up after watching 45 minutes, it’s cleansing, there is no other word to describe this movie. Watch any Christmas movie, any Christmas movie, but honestly not this one. “ (princess)
“I’m still a big fan of Christmas movies, from the Wish TV movie to the Disney movie. I even go so far as to read Christmas books…just to show how good of a society I am when it comes to Christmas!
But there… there! Shame, the worst movie of all time, full of actors, each worse than the other (and obviously shot in the sun). With a story full of nonsense and inconsistencies. Please don’t go!” (Alain Pierre S)
“This is truly the worst movie I’ve ever seen and the funniest in the history of cinema. My wife and I were surprised we didn’t give up after 5 minutes. However, I love Christmas movies, but there is nothing good about the movie. Too lame, don’t waste your time.” (Eliza I)
“This movie is really not good. It’s completely stupid. It’s disgusting. It’s garbage even for sleeping. I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone. The beginning is cliche and garbage, as is the ending. The action is garbage, uninteresting and useless. In short, it’s a waste of time.” (Matthew Dubois). (Sean 777)
have you ever watched what do you think about it
