The truck is loaded with beef from the Friboi slaughterhouse, owned by JBS, and under the responsibility of Setlog (Union of MS freight transport and logistics companies)

The shipment of 13 tons of beef from Mato Grosso do Sul arrived at the Ponta Porã customs without any export documentation. What was supposed to be the “test drive” of the Bioceanic Route highlighted the lack of preparation in the organization of the III Expedition of the Latin American Integration Route.




The truck is loaded with beef from the Friboi slaughterhouse, owned by JBS, and under the responsibility of Setlog (Union of freight transport and logistics companies of the MS), which leads the shipment to Chile together with Semadesc (Secretariat of the Environment , Development, Science, Technology and Innovation).

Despite all the institutional, business and political apparatus, the shipment arrived on Friday (24th) in Ponta Porã without any export documentation and without even passing customs. The expectation was that the cargo would arrive in northern Chile, at the port of Iquique, on the 29th and meet the team.
