In an interview with Rolling Stone, the creators of the production, O’Malley and Ben Grabinski, revealed that, unfortunately, there are no plans for a second season.
We loved what we did, we put everything we had into these episodes. We have no idea what is left behind, nor how to continue this story. I never say “never”, but I can say that, at this point, 50 simultaneous miracles would have to happen for us to have a second season.

O’Malley also noted that, given the many criticisms leveled at series that run too long or are canceled after an unfinished season, fans should celebrate, because Scott Pilgrim: The Series “It has a beginning, a middle and an end”. “Let’s put all our chips here and try to have a contained season.”
Grabinski added that, having said that, it’s important to clarify that they are not working on new episodes, nor do they intend to.
I think the series has a fantastic ending, which we’re very proud of, and we haven’t made any plans beyond that. Maybe, someday, one of us will text the other with an idea, and season two will happen. For now, all we have is this season.
