The entry of aid and fuel trucks into the Gaza Strip through Egypt’s Rafah crossing was halted on Friday, according to Egyptian security and aid sources, as Israel resumed its military campaign after a week-long truce.
The amount of aid delivered through the Rafah crossing increased during the truce, although humanitarian officials said it was still far less than needed.
Rafah has been the only entry point for humanitarian aid destined for Gaza, with deliveries starting on October 21, two weeks after the war began.
