The police are looking for John
At the police station, Aurora asks questions about Benjamin John, as the latter is a suspect in the murder. Even if everything is blamed on his friend, Benjamin doesn’t believe it for a second. Aurora points out that Jon wouldn’t have run if he had nothing to blame himself for.
Aurora then takes Benjamin to the hospital, where she takes the opportunity to ask Bastien a few questions. So they inform him that their father has not been found and they must also question him as part of the investigation. Bastien has no idea where his father is. As for the night of the crime, Bastien claims his father stayed at his bedside the entire time.
Aurora returns to the police station. Kareem has been unable to make progress on his part: the wanted poster has turned up nothing, the hospital’s video surveillance system has been up for a week, and no hospital staff would have seen John leave his son’s room at night. And Aurora thinks they’ll find him eventually, as she predicts that John won’t let go of his seriously ill son.
At the high school, Etienne and Francois prepare to announce to the students that Bastien will be gone indefinitely. Violet, overhearing their conversation, tries to find out more. He learns that his friend is suffering from a serious illness.
So he goes to the hospital after class to see her. Bastien tells him that he has leukemia – the cause of the bruises on his body. Violet apologizes for thinking her father was beaten. Bastien is not against it, especially since he was finally diagnosed thanks to him. Violet then gives him the latest volumes of her favorite books. Bastien invites her to stay with him to read, which she accepts.
Meanwhile, Adam is in the middle of a photo shoot when he catches a man forcing his car into a parking lot. While the individual, who is none other than John, manages to steal the car, Adam shoots him with the camera. After which he alerts the police. Nordin goes there. After seeing the photos, he identifies John as the car thief. Nordin calls the Auror to give him the license plate.
In the evening, in the stolen car, John stops to call Benjamin and hear the news about Bastien. The pediatrician tells her that her first round of chemotherapy went well. He adds that blood test results indicate that John is compatible with his son for a bone marrow transplant. But for that, John has to go to the police. The latter will face a dilemma…

At the Christmas market, Chloe meets Nathan, who is delighted to be her neighbor. As he prepares to set up his, he realizes that Gerald, who has come to sell hiking kits, is already there. They argue over a stall until Nathan steps in and manages to convince Gerald to take another stall next to the little spoon.
A few hours later, Nathan begins to regret his actions. In fact, Gerald never stops demonstrating bird calls. Whistleblowers are starting to scare consumers. But Nathan isn’t going to let that happen. With Chloe’s help, he grabs the microphone to make the announcements, drowning out the noise of the whistles.
At the end of the day, Chloe returns home, exhausted but happy with her day. Alexander suggests that he has found a way. Chloe replies that she doesn’t see herself as a salesperson. On the other hand, he feels that national education has really turned a page.
Filipina joins forces with Victor
At the breakfast table, Timothy discusses his future with his father. He returned to Seth after breaking up with Elsa, who had fallen in love with someone else. Timothée now plans to stay in France, but does not intend to resume his studies. Victor is shocked by this decision, which he considers radical and above all hasty. But Timothy is sure of himself.
Later, Victor reveals to the Philippines that he agrees to partner equally with him in the estate. He gives her a contract to sign, then sits down in Victor’s office to begin work.
